Meet Kelle

Kelle started her career in the big “Mad Man’ advertising agencies in Toronto as a media buyer and planner, She worked on large TV, radio, print and Out-of-Home campaigns working on clients like Wendy’s Restaurants, Molson, Johnson & Johnson, Hyundai Canada, Shell Canada, Canadian Airlines and more.  She moved into eCommerce during the dot com boom, becoming the Head of Marketing for Nevada Bob’s Golf for the North American retail network and was the marketing lead on the development of the successful  NevadaBobsGolf.com.  She’s also been the Head of Marketing for the SaaS company Hover.com.  When the dot com crash happened, Kelle moved back to agency but this time into the cutting edge digital boutique agencies working as a senior account director on clients like Procter & Gamble, Hershey’s, Bonefish Grill/Carabbass Restaurants, Royal Le Page Commercial, Tirecraft Canada, Shoppers Drug Mart, Revlon, The UPS Store Canada, Entripy.com, WorkshopLIVE.com, AmericanTall.com and more.

When you work as an account lead in a boutique agency, you wear a few crucial hats – you are part strategist, part project manager and sometimes if the client doesn’t have a Marketing Department or Senior Marketing Lead – Senior Agency Lead take on the role of acting CMO for clients.  And on many different kinds of clients.

Kelle’s unique experience and career path has given her a very wide skill set.   She has extensive B2B, retail and eCommerce experience.  She is a growth marketer who is used to reporting results back to CEOs and owning P&Ls.  She can write strategies that achieve objectives, lead marketing and agency teams but she is also versatile enough to jump in and execute on social media campaigns, email blasts and updating Shopify and WordPress websites (she built and maintains this site) if required.

The fractional CMO movement is just taking off in Canada.  Kelle is connected to other top-rated fCMOs in the GTA.  Feel free to connect with Kelle for a discovery call and if she isn’t right for you, she will connect you with someone who is.

Recent Success Stories

Kelle is known to surpass client goals. Here are some notable acheivements:

Streamlined a Difficult Checkout Experience

An apparel client was losing customers at the ‘Build Your Product’ stage of his sales experience. Users were either abandoning their cart or calling customer service to complete their order on the phone. Kelle led a team of UX designers and web developers to create a slicker an easy-to-understand product builder. Not only did the client’s sales increase due to completions, he was able to reduce the size of his CSR team.

Increased Holiday Campaign Sales by 40% YoY

A start-up beauty client needed help to get qualified traffic to their Shopify site during the crucial 8 weeks between Black Friday and Boxing Week. Kelle personally created the mulit-tactical campaign strategy and worked with the client to secure holiday-specific products and sales incentives. Kelle and a small team generated healthy traffic to the Shopify site. Kelle also personally updated and optimized the sales funnel in the Shopify backend. The client was thrilled.

e-Learning Client Success

Kelle led a team to develop an e-learning series for Shoppers Drug Mart that taught SDM cosmeticians how to properly recommend P&G Hair dye products. The team developed the curriculum, wrote scripts and worked with P&G’s professional trainers to film a video series complete with tests at the end of each course module. Cosmeticians who completed the entire course were given a very plush and wonderful robe (Kelle got one too!)

‘Make the Site Something This Industry Has Never Seen’, he said….

An automotive client wanted a website that didn’t look industrial. Kelle led a team of designers and web developers to create a website and digital marketing support that was so unique and inviting, that one of the world’s largest tire companies asked Kelle to create a marketing strategy for them.
